This is a sample of what the rack should look like.

Illinois Gamma's Trunk Mini Bar

Materials:

old trunk
wooden dish rack
place mats
vintage postcards
glue
nails
rags
hammer
flat head screw driver

Steps: Remove the hinges from the lid of the trunk. Use a damp rag to clean the base inside and out.
Make a base for the bottles and glassware - Remove the outside edge piece on one of the bottom sides of the rack with a hammer and flat-edged screwdriver (figure A). Or just put in a small wooden box and filp it up-side down
Nail along the outside edge of the rack to attach it inside the trunk.
Make a stemware rack - by attaching rabbeted molding to the bottom of one of the shelves. Two pieces of L-shaped molding installed facing each other form a two-sided ledge that will hold a row of stemware in place (figure B). Measure the diameter of the base of a piece of stemware, and attach the two pieces of molding to accommodate the stem and base of the glass.

Great "conversation piece" or just to hide your bar from drink smuggling vultures
